Service Description

For ages 12- 20 weeks: Getting a puppy started on a routine schedule as well as properly socializing is the most important part of raising a puppy. It can seem overwhelming because you feel like your puppy has become a T-rex crossed with a Tasmanian devil who goes potty whenever it wants to and you don't know what to do. Do you feel like your trying everything? To be honest, Puppies are time consuming and put a cramp in your normal life. Puppy Board and train is to help your puppy be on the right path to success at home. I will get your puppy started on a routine schedule, as well as socializes your puppy so it will be on the right path to becoming the dog you wanted. I focus on sleep, potty training and dog neutrality. No, your puppy will not know all its obedience commands nor will it walk perfect on a leash, although I will introduce them, that is not the focus. Your puppy will live in my house with my dogs and be a part of our daily routine. With clients coming and going, neighbors with horses and tractors ,your puppy will experience socialization at its best. I only take one puppy at a time since I have a full time dog training business as well and I want to raise your puppy as though it was mine. There is a 2 week minimum. On "go home" day we will discuss your schedule and come up with plan that can work for both you and puppy so that you can be successful. You can email me for advice, and 2 follow up private sessions will be scheduled on "go home" day. (the 2 sessions from "go home" day must be completed within 45 days ) *Potty training- by following a tight schedule of when to go outside, it will teach the puppy to recognize when they need to potty and communicate when they need to go. *Crate training- used for naps, bed time and unsupervised time. Helps prevent separation anxiety, and makes it easy to travel with your dog. *Dog neutrality- puppy will get used to my dogs, they are very neutral. They stay calm and relaxed and do not see other dogs as excitement or a threat. They will also be a part of some of my classes. *Socialization- exposing puppy to a variety of people, animals, places, sounds in a positive way
